When University Place consolidated police, library, and city hall into a single civic building, the design priority was clear: preserve the natural light. KI's Genius demountable wall system built out offices and conference spaces on the City Hall floors without blocking the perimeter windows. Clerestory glass office fronts carried daylight into the interiors, while integrated markerboards kept the walls functional without adding clutter. Glass continued through the furniture with back-painted door fronts on storage and magnetic panels on workstation dividers. Every desk was height-adjustable for ergonomic comfort.
